Quote:

"Today, Minneapolis rapper Brother Ali released a video where he discussed the upcoming Day Of Dignity, a community outreach effort that will take place in the Twin Cities at the start of next month.

“This is gonna be like the bigger version of the things that [the mosque does to help the community],” he said about the event, which will offer free food, medical health, haircuts, winter clothing, school supplies and health/hygiene kits to the community. Brother Ali and Philadelphia rapper Freeway will also be putting on a free performance.

The rapper explained his involvement, detailing his history with the Muslim faith and his place of worship, which are the event’s main sponsor.

The Day Of Dignity event is scheduled to take place on October 1. It’s free and open all day to the public. The event will be held at the Masjid An-Nur mosque located at 1729 Lyndale Ave N. in Minneapolis. For more information on the event, call 612-521-1749 or visit twincitiesdignity.org."
